It has been an exciting summer filled with awards, signings, trades, and ALS Ice Bucket Challenges. Now the long-awaited 2014-2015 NHL season is just around the corner. On Tuesday, the NHL announced the official schedule for the 2014 preseason, which is set to begin on Sunday, September 21.

The preseason is comprised of 105 games over a span of 15 days and includes the 2014 Kraft Hockeyville game in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, on September 24. This match pits the newly-renamed Arizona Coyotes against the Calgary Flames at the Sylvan Lake Multiplex, and it will be broadcast live on CBC in Canada and NHL Network in the US at 7 p.m. ET/5 p.m. MT. Other preseason highlights include games in Bridgeport, CT (Boston Bruins v. NY Islanders, Oct. 3); Brooklyn, NY (New Jersey Devils v. NY Islanders, Sept. 26); Colorado Springs, CO (Colorado Avalanche v. LA Kings, Oct. 2); Kansas City, MO (Dallas Stars v. St. Louis Blues, Sept. 27); Las Vegas, NV (Colorado Avalanche v. LA Kings, Oct. 4); London, Ont. (Philadelphia Flyers v. Toronto Maple Leafs, Sept. 22); Quebec City, Que. (Colorado Avalanche v. Montreal Canadiens, Sept. 26); St. John’s, Nfld. (NY Islanders v. Ottawa Senators split-squad doubleheader, Sept. 22); Saskatoon, Sask. (Chicago Blackhawks v. Edmonton Oilers, Sept. 28); and Stockton, CA (San Jose Sharks v. Vancouver Canucks, Sept. 23).
