The Devils announced their presence for the first time in the finals refusing to lose much to the chagrin of the Kings. Desperately down three games to none, New Jersey fought back to take Game 4 with a score of 3-1 over LA. Adam Henrique scored the game winner with 4:31 left to play in the third, and, with an added Ilya Kovalchuk empty netter, NJD thwarted the dreaded elimination sweep. With Martin Brodeur’s 21 saves for the win, the Devils will attempt to become only the third team to bounce back from a 3-0 deficit to win a series. New Jersey has a tough road ahead; the Kings have yet to lose away from home this postseason and are looking for their first Cup in franchise history. Game 5 takes place in Newark on Saturday.
