While some people were enjoying the holiday today, Thanksgiving in Canada and Columbus Day in the States, the Worcester Sharks were hard at work with the end of training camp soon approaching. Players hit the ice at New England Sports Center with varied drills, scrimmages and exercises. With the vast majority of practice being all work, it’s important to note that in a positive move by Head Coach Roy Sommers, a little play was mixed in too. The team was in great spirits as they participated in scrimmages and joked with each other. Skating hard is important, but it’s moments like those that often help facilitate a good team dynamic on the ice. The Sharks don’t hit the ice at home until October 20th, but this seasons team is already shaping up to be worth the show. The team will have a day off tomorrow, followed by the end of camp on Wednesday at the Hart Center in Worcester, MA.

Growing from hockey fan to hockey player, Winter followed her passions by founding The Pink Puck. While she also loves fashion and the outdoors, hockey will always be her center ice.
