NHL Entry Draft: Round 1
The first round of the 2012 NHL entry draft took place tonight at the Consol Energy Center, home of the Pittsburgh Penguins. The first round this year was filled with many ups and certainly a few shocking downs. As speculated Nail Yakupov went first overall to the Edmonton Oilers and Ryan Murray went second to the Columbus Bluejackets. Sticking to the ISS top 50 took a huge detour from there on out.
