40 is the new 30!
With 27 saves and an assist Martin Brodeur lead the Devils to a 4-1 Game 4 victory over the Rangers. Appearing ageless, the 40-year-old Broduer held the shutout late into the third period before letting Ruslan Fedotenko scoot the puck by. Zach Parise recorded three points for New Jersey scoring early in the third and adding an additional empty netter (assisted by Broduer). The Devils now tie the series at 2 apiece with Game 5 Wednesday at Madison Square Garden.
