This game was scoreless until the third when Dan Girardi hit his mark for New York beating Martin Brodeur on a power play. Chris Kreider added a second just two minutes later and, with an empty netter extra, the Rangers took New Jersey 3-0. Henrik Lundqvist notched his second shutout of the series with 36 saves; the Devils outshot New York by 14. Game 4 is Monday in Newark with the Rangers up 2-1 in the final.
