Rangers Win Game 1

New York scored three in the third to take Game 1 of the Eastern conference final from New Jersey. Henrik Lundqvist boasted his second shutout of the playoffs and, despite a scoreless first 40 minutes, a tired Rangers team had Martin Broduer’s number last period. Artem Anisimov and Chris Krieder scored for New York while Dan Girardi added an empty-netter in the victory. The two meet again Wednesday at MSG.
