Wild Wednesday
The race heated up last night with two teams avoiding elimination and a third tying their series. This is Wednesday’s story…
Penguins thump Flyers
Looking like Pittsburgh of old, the Penguins thwarted elimination beating Philly 10-3. Jordan Stall recorded his first career postseason hat trick while Sidney Crosby added to the tally with a goal and two assists. Game 5 will be played in Pittsburgh on Friday where the Pens will continue their uphill battle.
Ottawa over NY
Senators came back from a 2-0 deficit in the first period to take the Rangers 3-2 in overtime. With the win at home, Ottawa ties the series at two apiece. The battle resumes Saturday in New York.
Vancouver stays afloat
With both the Sedins back and Cory Schneider in net, a recharged Vancouver fought back taking game four from LA 3-1. Schneider, in his second straight start, earned first star with 43 saves. The Canucks travel home for a critical Game 5 on Sunday.
