This weekend marks the theater release of Star Wars in 3-D. I’ll openly admit to being a nerd for knowing this, in part because my little 6 year old brother lives and breathes everything Star Wars. Who knew that hockey and Star Wars go so well together? Apparently a lot of people.

The original goalie; Darth Vadar has been rocking the hockey helmet for years now, Storm Troopers blend with the ice and that Princess Lea’s hair resembles pucks throughout most of the movies.
