Stiletto Saturday: Patriots vs. Giants

Obviously this is a hockey site, but even the greatest lover of hockey strays from the ice to support other sports. Football is a happy substitute for Sunday afternoons when the NHL is frequently not playing a game near you.

Tomorrow is Superbowl Sunday, the one Sunday a year that pretty much everyone is a football fan in some capacity or another. Doesn’t matter if you actually watch the game for the game or the timeless commercials. Superbowl Sunday is a time for friends and family to gather around that 2,308 inch flat screen TV.

While showing hockey equality and supporting the sport itself; I end up putting my love for one specific team on a shelf. When it comes to football, that isn’t an option. If you’re undecided on what team to root for, perhaps you should take into account the creativity of the fans on both sides from a fashionista perspective. It’s pretty clear that even if I wasn’t from Boston, I’d choose the Patriots every time and twice on Sunday.
