Coach Claude Julien signed a multi-year contract extension with Boston on Monday.
“I’m extremely happy to remain here in Boston,” said Julien. “Love the organization, love the city.” The city clearly has a love for the coach that was instrumental in bringing the Stanley Cup back to Boston after so many years. “Now my goal is to win another Cup for this Boston franchise” commented Julien, “I remain hungry.”

Without much variation to the roster, it looks as though the Bruins will keep a virtually unchanged team. One notable face that was surely missed on the ice for a majority of last season, Nathan Horton. Horton has been cleared for contact and will return to the ice when it’s time to play.  Bergeron, and McQuaid have also mended during the off-season. While Tyler Seguin and Anton Khudobin are still on the road to recovery with no foreseeable speed bumps. Good news on the roster front indeed.

Boston Bruins Foundation Harbor Cruise will be held on Wednesday July 25th. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to cruise around the harbor with Bruins alumni for a great cause. Today (July 24th) is the last day to buy tickets.

Winter was hooked on hockey by age 6, when she first witnessed a bench clearing brawl between the Boston Bruins and the Ottawa Senators. Growing from hockey fan to hockey player, Winter followed her passions by founding The Pink Puck. While she also loves fashion and the outdoors, hockey will always be her center ice.
