The weather outside is delightful and summer fashion is in full bloom. Perhaps you’re going through off season depression, don’t fret. This weeks look brings the love of hockey to the pool, beach, golf course, ice cream store, etc, etc.

Jean shorts are a summer staple, but straying from the regular blue isn’t a penalty, why not mix it up. Comfy vintage T-Shirts are an easy look to take just about anywhere during the summer, not only do they look cool but they keep you cool too. Wear a team T-Shirt that you already have or hit up thrift stores or Etsy to find a vintage one from current and past NHL teams. The Nordiques have a great color scheme as do the NorthStars, the perfect mix of bright summer colors and hockey.

You can even add a little early Movember support in the summer months with a cute and functional tote bag. A straw fedora gives the look a little summer flare and keeps your face protected. As always, this look is just a guideline, get creative and mix and match pieces from your hockey season wardrobe. Just because your team is shutout of the playoffs, doesn’t mean your apparel has to be!

Hockey Summer Throwback

Winter was hooked on hockey by age 6, when she first witnessed a bench clearing brawl between the Boston Bruins and the Ottawa Senators. Growing from hockey fan to hockey player, Winter followed her passions by founding The Pink Puck. While she also loves fashion and the outdoors, hockey will always be her center ice.
