The New Jersey Devils knocked out Philly last night and advance to the Eastern conference finals for the first time in nine years. Martin Broduer made 27 saves in the 3-1 win while Ilya Kovalchuk recorded a goal and an assist. Philly appeared to be missing two of their key players; Claude Giroux was Shannabanned from the game while an empty Ilya Bryzgalov let in the lack lustre go-ahead goal on a failed clear. NJD wins the series 4-1 and awaits their match-up in the final.
