Saturday saw three of four games in OT. Here’s what the race for the cup looked like this weekend:

Caps bruise Bruins
Nicklas Backstrom scored in double overtime to give Washington the victory 2-1 over Boston. With the win, the Capitals tie the series one a piece and head to Washington for game three on Monday.

Senators beat NY
The Senators tied the series Saturday with a 3-2 OT win against the Rangers. The win however came at a price; captain Daniel Alfredsson left the game in the second after NY’s Carl Hagelin smashed his head into the glass. Hagelin is expected to have a hearing in front of the board on Sunday. The Sens’ quest continues Monday in Ottawa.

Blues take Sharks
St. Louis scored one in each period to even the series with San Jose. Jaroslav Halak and Brian Elliott teamed up to make 29 saves in the win. Halak left the game in the second after a collision with teammate Barret Jackman. Game three heads to San Jose Monday night.

Blackhawks over Coyotes
Chicago ties the series with their overtime win in Arizona. A late Chicago goal in the third sent the game into OT where the Blackhawks’ Brian Bickell scored for the victory. The two meet again in Chi Town Tuesday night for game three.
