The division title has been clinched, the regular season is almost over and the Bruins are ready to take on the league for another run at hockey’s holy grail. Now is the time for regulars to rest and new faces to fill in the spaces.

With his family in attendance, one new face in particular made his NHL debut on Tuesday night. Torey Krug took to the ice when the Pittsburgh Penguins slid into town. Signed to an entry level contract on March 25th, Krug is the newest D-man for Boston.The 2012 Hobey Baker Award finalist had a lot of emotions powering his game, but he was just thankful for the opportunity.

In addition to Krug making his NHL debut, another player used to the “rookie” spotlight made strides in the Bruins organization yet again. Tyler Seguin received the 7th Player Award last evening before the 5-3 loss to Pittsburgh. The 7th Player is awarded to the Bruins player who went above and beyond this season, as voted by the fans on NESN.com.
