After a quick turnover for both teams, the Leafs play Washington today in a do or die game. Toronto must win in regulation to keep their dwindling playoff dreams alive. Less than 18 hours after their shoot out loss to Philly, the Leafs head to Washington wrapping up their series with the Caps. Washington has taken the Leafs in their last two meetings although star Ovechkin is scoreless against Toronto this year. Gustavsson will get his fourth straight start under new coach Carlyle with a .921 save percentage in his last 4 games. The Capitals beat Boston yesterday and sit in 8th spot in the East while the Leafs occupy 12th with 68 points. This match-up marks the beginning of a grueling 5 game road trip for Toronto ending in Boston on March 19.
