The road hasn’t been an easy one for the Boston Bruins and for another spell this season they’re stuck fighting their way to the top. With the losses piling up and most notably a 6-0 loss suffered on Wednesday night against the Buffalo Sabres.

“I thought we started well, but it went from good to bad to worse” commented Bruins Coach Claude Julien, “Right now it’s about righting the ship with some better play from everybody”.

Julien’s comments were certainly mirrored in the locker room post practice by the team. Bruins forward Shawn Thornton is just one Bruin recognizing the teams recently play.

“We slipped a bit and we’ve got to get back to where we were” commented Thornton.

Putting in the time on fundamentals was just one component to the Bruins extended on ice practice today in Wilmington, MA; continuing to keep emotions in check was another.

“Don’t let the highs get too high, don’t let the lows get too low” added Thornton post practice.

Knowing that they aren’t playing to the best of their potential, will most likely put a collective drive to be better mentality onto the ice . It can be almost guaranteed that Bruins faithful will be hoping the S.S. Bruin doesn’t pull a Titanic when the puck drops against the Nashville Predators on Saturday.

Below are a few post practice videos from Rich Peverley, Shawn Thornton and Coach Claude Julien.
