The Boston Bruins have been skating past the competition in the last few games, recording a near perfect and fairly busy November. Busy is the name of the game when you sneak a peek at the Bruins schedule for this week beginning today with a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The talk of the town is whether the Bruins will be able to shutdown Sidney Crosby and his teammates. As many of you might know, Crosby had previously suffered a concussion which left his hockey future unknown. Or so the media and press hyped it to be, his future is clearly still bright as he recorded 2 goals and 2 assists during his first game back.

Sid the kid as he’s been called throughout his career is no stranger to the Bruins brick wall goaltender Tim Thomas. Tonight’s contest should prove to be a good one, as both teams have a history of playing equally matched hockey. As the Penguins are finally over the absence of their go to player and the Bruins kicked that nasty Stanley Cup hangover it’s safe to bet that the game could be worthy of your time this evening. Puck drops at 7pm est!

No matter the outcome the Bruins will have a chance of redemption when they travel to Winnipeg for the first time this season to take on the Jets tomorrow night. Hopefully with no jetlag in sight from Winnipeg they’ll look to sedate the Panthers on Thursday at home and then buzz right into Columbus for a game against the Blue Jackets on Saturday.

A few post practice videos from the Bruins locker room yesterday, before the team headed off to Pittsburgh.
